Enormous padding when putting GtkImage in a GtkBox
Steps to reproduce
- Create a GtkBox.
- Put a GtkImage at the top (or left) and a GtkLabel at the bottom (on right).
Current behavior
A lot of padding is added to the GtkImage. If the GtkBox is vertical (horizontal), the padding is vertical (horizontal).
See e.g. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/74628787/how-to-get-rid-of-padding-around-gtk-image-in-gtk-box-gtk-grid-in-gtk4 where the reporter says he has just Window -> ScrollWindow -> Grid -> Box -> (Image + Label) and gets
I can also confirm his observation that GtkPicture solves the issue.
Expected outcome
No padding, at least given that the default margin values for GtkImage is zero.
Version information
On Ubuntu with packaged GTK 4.12.5+ds-2ubuntu1
