GtkTextView: Ctrl-backspace only deletes a single character
I originally reported this against a GTK application, but was told this is a GTK issue, and was able to reproduce with both gtk4-demo --run=hypertext
and gtk3-demo --run=hypertext
: when I hit Ctrl-backspace, only a single letter gets deleted, not the entire last word. When I use Ctrl-left/right, jumping over words works as expected.
To reproduce, I open gtk4-demo --run=hypertext
. I type 'Hello world' and then hit Ctrl-backspace. Now the text is 'Hello worl', but I expected it to be 'Hello '.
In case that's relevant, this is in a KDE Plasma Wayland session on Debian testing. Things work as expected in Firefox, Thunderbird, Electron applications, and KDE applications.
