GtkComboBoxText within a GtkMenuButton popover don't show choices visually
In GTK3 (but I have not tested with GTK4) when putting a GtkComboBoxText inside a popover, it shows the available choices on click when used separately, but doesn't on Wayland backend when it's set as the popover for a GtkMenuButton. It works with X11 backend.
This can be seen with current master of https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/planner :
- Click on the "Start" column cell of the made task
- The "Schedule" combo dropdown works there visually on Wayland (but after picking one of the other choices than default, shift+Tab doesn't focus to the now sensitive calendar or "Today" button, but that's a separate issue)
- Close the popover and double click on the row elsewhere, e.g. the WBS column
- Insert task (Ctrl+I or the various menus)
- Click the "Change..." GtkMenuButton in the legacy "Edit task properties" dialog that opened
- The same popover class used there doesn't successfully open the combo choices display on Wayland (it does on X11); the choice can be changed with up/down arrows via keyboard only (and shift+Tab doesn't work there to change focus either)
If necessary, I can try to make a more minimal reproducer at a later date.
