Have you tested Nightly to see if the issue has been fixed? If not, why? Yes, it’s the same wrong behavior there.

Current behaviour
Horizontal mouse wheel scroll is inverted, both in default as in natural scrolling mode.
Expected behaviour
Identical scroll direction as in all other applications.
