HeaderBar not visible in fullscreen mode
Note that it's rather a question than issue:
Tiling window managers such as i3 (X11) and sway (Wayland) allow switching every window to fullscreen mode ie to temporarily maximize window space for better overview of its contents. The problem is in many GTK3 applications menus disappear when going to fullscreen mode and since those menus are crucial to using those apps, they're essentially not usable in this mode. As far as I can tell they all use HeaderBar -- either one from GTK or libhandy. My questions:
- Can anyone point to code responsible for hiding HeaderBar? I've checked many places myself but couldn't figure it out
- Can it be prevented/controlled?
- Is this expected that some of those apps hide HeaderBar (dconf-editor) and some don't (simple-scan)?
