File Dialogue CTRL + L shortcut should default to the current directory
Hello
I was trying to manually enter a folder (i work with many similar folders, so i need to be precise there when doing file manipulation
And the CTRL + L shortcut is handy because it lets us manually type the path
The problem is the path is empty, there are no states, so i have to always type the full path of where i was
Couldn't it be made much simpler?
Suggestion:
- Use press CTRL + L
- Path adress bar becomes focus
- Set the current path
- eg: if i was at home->username->downloads_a the whenever i press the shortcut, it should put in the path: /home/username/downloads_a
What do you think?
OS: Arch Linux
Desktop: XFCE4
gtk3: 1:3.24.30+90+g20be04f7ac-1
gtk4: 1:4.4.1-1
xfce4: 4.16
Example program: Sublime Text 4
Here i demonstrate the issue, the path is blank, it should be:
/home/ryuukk/dev/dcd_latest/
