Flick-scrolling GTK3 pages and lists (like in Settings) using a Wacom digitizer doesn't work
Affected version
GNOME 40.1 on Artix Linux, an Arch Linux derivative, on Wayland. Clean install, and all extensions are disabled. However, this is a long-standing condition, affecting GNOME Shell ever since at least 3.34 on Ubuntu as well. Also affects GNOME 3.38.2 and all prior GNOME versions.
Bug summary
Flick scrolling using a Wacom stylus doesn't work, even on GTK3 system programs like Settings.
Steps to reproduce
On a computer with a Wacom digitizer, either external or built-in:
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll using a finger (on a touchscreen). This should work as expected.
- Scroll using the Wacom pen. It won't work, and it would cause the pen to move the mouse pointer instead.
What happened
The pen would move the mouse pointer, and the drag request would be ignored, unlike finger flicks.
What did you expect to happen
The page would scroll as if a finger was being used.
