extend GtkAccelLabel to optionally replace text labels with symbols

Description
Accelerators (represented as words) in menus use a lot of space and introduce visual noise.
To improve that situation, the words ("Ctrl", "Alt", "Shift", &c.) can be replaced with symbols (similar to Mac OS). Many of these symbols are included in Unicode; however, some are absent (e.g., super).
Shift+Ctrl+Page Down -> ⇧^⇟ (3 characters instead of 20)
Though accelerator replacement should be optional, and disabled by default, I imagine many would appreciate it.
