Add "selected item" signal to GtkPopoverMenu
GTK3 applications use the GtkMenuItem::selected
signal on context menus for things like highlighting elements on their main content area. See, for instance this topic on Discourse, which has an example.
It would help porting to GTK4 to have a way to know that an item on the GtkPopoverMenu
is currently selected. Since we don't allow building menus from widgets any more, and since GtkModelButton
does not have a "selected" signal anyway, having a signal on the popover itself is probably the best solution.
Something like:
void (* selected_item) (GtkPopoverMenu *menu,
const char *action_name,
const char *action_target);
would be enough.
