Clipboard support for the RDP backend ([MS-RDPECLIP])
g-r-d has complete clipboard integration implemented (including clipdata locking ([MS-RDPECLIP] 2.2.4.1
)). It allows to copy-paste text, images, and files.
It would be good, if Connections would implement clipboard integration too.
Clipboard support in RDP is pretty special, as it makes use of delayed clipboard data rendering, meaning the actual clipboard content is only by the shared owner received, when requested (needed), effectively minimizing the bandwidth usage.
The documentation can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/windows_protocols/ms-rdpeclip/fb9b7e0b-6db4-41c2-b83c-f889c1ee7688
Section 2 PDUs + channel handling are implemented by FreeRDP. Section 1 and 3 must be handled by the API user (Connections).
In case of Microsoft changes the link to the documentation, it is always found under the name [MS-RDPECLIP]
