Scrolling using scroll-bar not possible after an image was selected
If a image in the directory view was selected, it is no longer possible to scroll through the images moving the scroll-bar on the right with the mouse.
It happens at least with gthumb 3.12.5 and 3.12.6 on Fedora 39, using Gnome with X11.
- Start gthumb.
- Select a directory in the left directory tree which contains images and click on it with the mouse cursor.
- A preview of the first images of the directory are displayed on the right side of the window.
- Use the mouse and klick on the scroll bar with the left mouse key and hold it and move the scroll bar down and up to scroll through the preview images of the directory.
- Click on a image. It is selected and marked "blue".
- Try to scroll again by moving the scroll bar with the mouse. You will always jump back to the image that was selected, and you cannot scroll up or down because the selected image "wants to be visible" in the window.
- Deselect the image by clicking somewhere between the preview images. The image isn't marked "blue" now.
- Try again to scroll. You get the same behavior. It seams that the image still "wants to be visible" in the window.
- Click on some directory on the left side of the window, may be the same directory as currently used.
- Then try again to scroll. Now it seams that the selection was "reset" and you can scroll down and up through the whole directory.
