Saving image bigger than 16383x16383 to webp never ends
3.12
It seems that gthumb doesn't know that the maximum webp size in pixels is 16383. So if you have, say, a 20,000 x 5,000 image (use case: a stitched panorama) and want to convert to webp you never get any alert nor you are going to have it saved.
gthumb should warn that saving to webp isn't possible for images bigger than the maximum size.
I suppose that the same issue appears when exceeding the maximum size for other formats, see https://cloudinary.com/blog/how_jpeg_xl_compares_to_other_image_codecs for info.
