Display 'GParted already running' error graphically
GParted is a graphical tool so 95% of the time the program will not be launched from a terminal.
The launcher shell script ought to display any errors using a graphical dialog error box, because this would give the user more clarity about why GParted just failed to open (eg, when a second instance of GParted is blocked from being launched). Currently the message is only written stdout, which will often lead to confusion (especially among newbies).
Given the GTK program hasn't yet initialized by during the launcher, I suggest using yad (Yet Another Dialog) if it's available on the target system. There's actually lot of options to display a graphical tool. (You almost certainly have xmessage
on all target systems, but I think the undecorated dialog boxes looks ugly).
I have created a commit for discussion.
For completeness I note that the existing stdout message is not yet translated.
