Excel compatibility: MS has additional functions FLOOR.PRECISE, FLOOR.MATH, CEILING.PRECISE, CEILING.MATH,
If I understand right they wanted to spread sufficient confusion and implemented the above functions.
If I'd read well for *.PRECISE the significand is optional ( in Excel normally required ) and *.MATH work with an add. optional parameter 'MODE', steering the rounding direction for negative operands.
If I looked correct gnumeric handeles Excels ERF.PRECISE and ERFC.PRECISE functions, but not the add. functions for FLOOR and CEILING.
Just spotted, can't say if and how important ... but evtl. gnumerics FLOOR and CEILING match better with Excels *.PRECISE?
