2020-Oct-11 not accepted in .csv input
Desired behavior:
On the mailing list, MW said that 2020-Oct-11 should be recognized as a date when encountered in a .csv file. This is very much desirable.
Observed behavior:
Not so much. Consider the following two-line .csv file
2020-Oct-11,,=0+A1
2020-10-31,,=0+A2
The second row is treated as a date, but the first row is not. Deleting the second row doesn't improve things. Adding a header row doesn't improve things.
Platform:
This is observed both with the generic version that came with my distro:
gnumeric version '1.12.38'
datadir := '/usr/local/share/gnumeric/1.12.38'
libdir := '/usr/local/lib/gnumeric/1.12.38'
and also with the same symptoms from a version compiled from recently-pulled git sources:
:; uname -srmo
Linux 5.7.1+ x86_64 GNU/Linux
:; lsb_release -a
