Issue created Jun 14, 2000 by Bugzilla@bugzilla-migration💬Reporter

wishlist-checkbox to import or open as read-only worksheet.

Submitted by acu..@..ey.edu

Description

Package: gnumeric Version: 0.54 Severity: wishlist

Is there a way that we could have a check box in the import dialog to import spreadsheets read-only? This would allow everything except for saving over the opened worksheet.

I think this should be relatively easy to do although there might be an issue if two versions of gnumeric are running at the same time with who has ownership control of the file.

This is not the same as changing the filesystem flags.

Thanks,
