Note picker / linking button: ability to insert a link to an existing note using search
Oftentimes I suspect I may have another note I want to link to from within the note I'm currently editing, but I don't know exactly how it's called (nor can I reasonably be expected to remember its exact naming, anyway), and I would like to be able to click an "Insert link" button from the note's toolbar/headerbar, and from that button would emerge a filtering searchbar popover that lets me select which note can be linked.
GNote's single-window UI mode makes this particularly important because you can't see the list of notes without exiting the current note, thus losing your context, etc etc.
So basically:
- Ability to insert the text that would match the title of the note you want to link to
- The search widget should be able to show multiple results, and let the user pick the definitive one to link to, either with a mouse click on one of the filtered results or using the Enter key on the one remaining result (or the first selected in the list). A bit like autocompletion widgets.
