Unable to get a ready-to-use website from instructions in the README
I ran the Meson build instructions in the README file, but I only get the .xml files for C and other locales available. I expected all HTML files, image files etc., which I believe should be installed by tools/website-custom-cmd.py if I read correctly.
I just would like to add that I spotted this issue when testing translation update in Damned Lies by pressing the build docs button. I expected it to load a translated website, but I've got Build failed (yelp-build): Error: No source found for ../images/gtk-logo.png
Back to my local test, dependencies should all be installed: meson, ninja, docbook5-xml, docbook-xsl, libxslt and itstool (and respective sub-dependencies).
I'm running the following commands:
cd gnomemm-website
meson . build --prefix $HOME/tmp
ninja -C build
ninja install -C build
No error is reported, I see a bunch of xml files being installed, no output regarding html, images etc.
Now looking at $HOME/tmp
I only see:
$ cd $HOME/tmp
$ /usr/bin/tree
.
