Weather has been using wrong location for months
Hi all,
I moved across states a few months ago, from WV to IL to be exact, but for some reason the weather app won't show my new city. It still shows my WV data. I tried every day and then let it go for a while. Today, I purged my Fedora install for the first time in a long time and have moved to EndeavourOS (with gnome) and the weather app does the same thing still. I assume it's because of Mozilla location services, but I see no way to send new data to it. I've enabled Wi-Fi to see if that improves, nothing.
I would appreciate some advice. Other things based on location (auto timezone) also mess up if I enable them, sending me back to the EST Timezone hen I'm in CST now.
OS: This happened on Fedora 38 - 39 EndeavourOS Weather Version: 44-45.0
My best guess is that some sort of Identifier for my device has been logged by Mozilla Location services for this to persist across states and differently entire OS installs after successfully wiping and purging my device to best practices.
