Weather notifications are in Fahrenheit despite setting the unit to Celsius
Setting the temperature unit to Celsius[1] still results the notification area to show in Fahrenheit[2].
I am using Fedora 36 Silverblue, and GNOME Weather from Flathub.
I ran flatpak run org.gnome.Weather
in the terminal, but I couldn't find any interesting log. I still provided the logs in case I missed something[3]
[3]
$ flatpak run org.gnome.Weather
(org.gnome.Weather:2): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 07:43:54.651: gtk_list_box_remove: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (child)' failed
(org.gnome.Weather:2): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 07:43:54.653: gtk_list_box_remove: assertion 'GTK_IS_WIDGET (child)' failed
Workaround
As a workaround, running gsettings set org.gnome.GWeather4 temperature-unit 'centigrade'
in the terminal fixed this issue. If that doesn't work, then gsettings set org.gnome.GWeather temperature-unit 'centigrade'
.
