enabling/disabling autohinting

Submitted by y y

Link to original bug (#444638)

Description

Please describe the problem: The only way to enable the autohinter is to add text to ~/.fonts. Some people prefer it off, others on, so it should be easily toggable via the fonts properties GUI.
