Scary bug: Ctrl+z clears all text in new documents!
Introduction
GNOME Text Editor is fast becoming my go to editor for writing down my thoughts and drafting messages etc... I like clean and simple apps with attention to detail and good design.
I have however noticed a serious issue with GNOME Text Editor: Ctrl+z
clears the whole text editor buffer for new documents.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Open Text Editor.
- Start typing some stuff.
- Press
Ctrl+z
. - Panic.
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+z
. - Relax.
Even if you save the document it still does this.
Now, when you OPEN a document and start editing, Ctrl+z
works as expected.
Let me know if you need more info!
All the best.
