I have not tested it on nightly, because this is my first exposure to this editor, I wanted to report the deal breaker bug before I switch back to gedit.
Bug information
Steps to reproduce
- Mount a folder in Nautilus using davs://
- Create a text document there
- Open this document in the editor
- Change the spelling language
- Close the editor
- Open the same document in the editor again: default spelling language is selected
- This problem does not occur on the local filesystem
Current behaviour
What happened that made it evident there was a problem?
After Ubuntu upgrade I saw this editor for the first time, tried it out on my primary use case and noticed this bug.
Expected behaviour
The spell checking setting should also persist for files on non-local filesystems like davs://
