Editor crashes always after I had once opened a too large JS file
System information
openSUSE Leap
Text Editor 43.0 (43.0) GTK: 4.8.1 (Compiled against 4.8.1) GtkSourceView: 5.6.1 (Compiled against 5.6.0)
I currently can not open the editor as it crashes after a few seconds.
Bug information
Steps to reproduce
- Upon developing, I once opened a very large, optimized JS file generated by Webpack
- gnme-text-editor crashed after a while
- Now I can not restart the editor, because it always loads the file and crashes
- After deleting the file, the edior still tries to open a copy of the file from somewhere - I'm not able to close this file, as it always crashes.
- On the command line I see: (gnome-text-editor:19218): editor-session-WARNING **: 10:00:45.711: Failed to load document: Fehler beim Holen der Informationen für Datei »/PATH/main.js«: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden (Translated: File or directory not found)
Current behaviour
There is no way to get the editor working again. Somewhere must be a temporary file that I could delete.
Expected behaviour
After the editor crashed twice opening the same file, it should be removed from the list of files that opens automatically. It could also stop opening a file that does no longer exist.
