Have you tested Nightly to see if the issue has been fixed? If not, why? Nightly not tested, because Flatpak does not support NFS-based home directories, which the accounts use. update: I tested with a local account and the nightly version 42.1. It has the same behavior as current RPM version 42.2.
Bug information
Steps to reproduce
In an Xfce desktop session in g-t-e's program panel list ("Window Buttons") item the file names stick around for too long.
Steps to reproduce:
- start an Xfce session
- open a new session of g-t-e; the item in the program panel reads
New Document (Draft) - Text Editor
- open "~/Downloads/test.txt"; program panel reads
test.txt (~/Downloads) - Text Editor
- close test.txt with Ctrl+w
Current behaviour
program panel still reads test.txt (~/Downloads) - Text Editor
Expected behaviour
program panel does not read test.txt (~/Downloads) - Text Editor
anymore, maybe - Text Editor
or Text Editor
Notes
After step 5 starting a new document with Ctrl+n make the program panel reads New Document (Draft) - Text Editor
