Program Name to Long
Hi All,
Thanks for the program, it is awesome! I have just started using it in Fedora 36 and really like the included features. My request is less of a bug and more of a feature request. The name "gnome-text-editor" is too long compared to your competing software.
If I want to edit a program with VI I just type "sudo vi /etc/default/grub" or with nano I type "sudo nano /etc/default/grub". With the current long name I have to write "sudo gnome-text-editor /etc/default/grub" which is 15 characters more than vi.
A short name would be fantastic. Some starting suggestions:
- gx
- gex
- gdit
- gnoot
- gzoo
Thanks for pondering on this suggestion. I understand if the issue gets closed, but thought it wouldn't hurt to suggest it.
Cheers Matt
