Upon quitting the text editor with unsaved changes, the whole gnome-shell sometimes crashes and restarts
I have no idea why this happens even with the newest rc1 build. I am not even sure if mutter
, or gnome-shell
, or just gdm
fails when quitting the text editor, but this's likely a memory leak within the app.
This happens specifically when text files are written, but unsaved, then quit, and does not happen with properly saved files (via File-Save) upon quitting.
Maybe it's also relevant to mention that when building gnome-text-editor from source, the following message's shown: Build-time dependency desktop-file-utils found: NO (tried pkgconfig and cmake)
.
