Ctrl+, to open preferences
Looks to me that many GNOME apps open their Preferences on Ctrl+,.
Should we join them by default? (If so, we need to update our schema and the help pages.)
(For a moment I considered suggesting Shift+Ctrl+, for consistency with the majority of our shortcuts, but it plays badly with international layouts. Even with US English layout, if you set this shortcut currently in the Preferences window, it's recorded as Ctrl+< instead. With other keyboard layouts things look differently, potentially causing troubles.)
