Profile Preference “Preserve working directory" Not Documented
Steps to reproduce:
- Open GNOME Terminal Preferences.
- Open any named profile under “Profiles” in side menu or create one if necessary.
- Open the profile’s “Command” tab.
- Under the “Command” section, observe the item labeled “Preserve working directory:” with options “Never”, “Shell only”, and “Always”.
- Click the “Help” button to open help section “Terminal preferences”
- Activate the help search feature by clicking the Search toolbar button or Ctrl+S.
- Enter the item label, i.e., “Preserve working directory” and press Enter.
Expected result: Search function retrieves relevant documentation explaining how the available options alter application behavior.
Actual result: “No matching help pages found.”
I also manually navigated the help hypertext looking for relevant help simply not being surfaced by the search function, but did not find any.
