Password manager
This is a feature request, not a bug.
I'm a long time Linux user that had to use a mac for a few weeks. I'm back on Linux and using gnome-terminal again. But there is one feature that iTerm2 has that I sorely miss in gnome-terminal. This is the built in password manager feature. Well.. iTerm2 allows users to enter regexes (called triggers) and when they appear to do an action, like open a/the password manager. So once I ssh into a server, the password (or sudo) prompt appears, the password manager is fired up. So very, very convenient
