gnome-terminal --tab opens new window from global hotkey
When running gnome-terminal --tab
inside a Gnome terminal window I get a new tab in the current window.
However running the same command via a global hotkey opens a new window, which doesn't seem to comply with its help text "Open a new tab in the last-opened window with the default profile":
gnome-terminal --help-terminal
Usage:
gnome-terminal [OPTION…] [-- COMMAND …]
Options to open new windows or terminal tabs; more than one of these may be specified:
--window Open a new window containing a tab with the default profile
--tab Open a new tab in the last-opened window with the default profile
Am I missing a configuration setting? Or is this behaviour as expected and the docs are just wrong here?
