Description
I was trying to add a simple menu item witch display the help menu of a command and then leave the terminal open at the path of the command.
Here is the .desktop file
[Desktop Entry] Comment=my command Categories=mycategory Encoding=UTF-8 Exec= su-to-root -X -c mycommand --help Path=My path Name=mycommand StartupNotify=true Terminal=true Type=Application
It looks that gnome launch the terminal defined in gconf with -x "Exec= option" option. and then closes ; restart or leave open as defined in gnome-terminal -> edit -> profil preference -> title and command -> when command exist .
It would be great if it was possible to get back to the prompt so that one could start typing commands.
Regards
