gnome-terminal doesn't handle meta keys correctly
Submitted by kje..@..tnu.no
Description
Package: gnome-terminal Version: 1.2.1 Severity: wishlist
Using the meta key should set the eighth bit of any typed characters.
Currently, typing an e' while holding a meta key yields an
e' in
gnome-terminal, and not a `å', as it should. This might be a zvt issue,
I really can't tell.
I run a Debian woody system, with Xfree 3.3.6 and Linux 2.4.0-test4. I have Helix GNOME installed, my libzvt version is 1.2.4.
