Description
I want to be able to have pseudo transparency even if the real transparency is possible/avaible. In fact I like to have my desktop background as gnome-terminal background BUT i don't like the real transparency because :
- I can't see the whole background, there are many icons
- If there are window below the terminal then i can't really see where are the limits of the terminal window
- I still want having an image as background
- I want this image to be my dsktop background (and i want gnome-terminal to follow whenever i change the desktop background)
Because I could not stand the real transparency anymore, I made a compile-time modification to the source code and here is my patch. It still needs some runtime configuration options but it involves gconf and Gtk and I don't really have time to learn these.
I'll attach my patch (it is just a #if 0 ... #endif patch).
