gnome-terminal -vs- meta-space
Submitted by tro..@..us.com
Description
Package: gnome-terminal Version: 1.0.55
I really like gnome-terminal.
If I type Meta-<something>
, gnome-terminal sends "ESC <something>
" to
the inferior. Cool.
However, I've noticed that if I type "Meta-space", only the space gets sent -- no ESC. This means I can't easily use the M-SPC binding in Emacs when I'm running it in a gnome-terminal.
This is quite annoying, as M-SPC is something I use frequently.
