I want the gnome-terminal program to accept command line arguments to select a pixmap background and set the level of shading, as in "gnome-terminal --pixmap /usr/local/share/termpics/fabulous.jpg --shade 20.
and
I want the gnome-terminal program to have a preferences option to randomly select an image from a directory. I have lots of backgrounds and want them to come up automatically.
If you won't do the second, I can write my own randomizer if you just do the first.
In the email list, Miguel I. seemed to think this would be done, but it never materialized. So I'm just asking again.
