gnome-terminal bug with the letter 'i'
Submitted by acm..@..rr.com
Description
Package: Gnome-terminal Version: 1.0.55
I have had gnome-term running for over a day now and I just got back to it and now I can not longer get an 'i' to the window. I can not paste an 'i' into the window either. A uppercase I is fine as well as all other letters. I have other gnome-term's open and they all work fine.
Typing /usr/b [TAB] I can get an 'i' on the command line to start 'vi' and then typing an 'i' for insert works and I can type an 'i' into the file. When I exit vi I can still not input an 'i'.
I guess it could be a bash problem but I don't know.
I don't expect much out of this bug report but I would like to at least see if other people have seen this problem.
I will try to leave the offending term open if someone has some ideas on what I should dump with gdb.
The term was not started from the session mngment.
