^N+128 = ^N ?

Description
Package: gnome-terminal Version: 1.0.54
I find this very pending bug.. ^N works the same as asc(142), which is just ^N (enter line-drawing mode) plus 128 .. can you plz fix it? very annoying, if somebody says this character in text and your terminal enters line-drawing mode, which renders all characters unreadable. and this is not xterm-like behaviour.
