--name=Xx doesn't set the terminal name
This command:
gnome-terminal --name='Abc' -- sleep 100
creates a window titled 'Terminal', same as without --name='Abc'
.
The manpage says:
--name=NAME
Program name as used by the window manager.
gnome-terminal-3.38.3
OS: FreeBSD 13
