Disable warn on closing multiple tabs

Description
I typically have several terminal-tabs open in a single gnome-terminal window.
Because of this, when I click on the close window icon, I get presented with a warning dialog, confirming whether I want to "Close all tabs?"
I'd like to be able to disable this warning - since I always work with mutiple tabs , and it is a pain to have to click on the "Close All Tabs" buttom each time.
Firefox suggests a way of doing this: adding a check box to the actual warning dialog box (so the warning dialog can be disabled when it first pops up), and also an option in a preferences dialog for re-enabling the warning dialog (although, gnome-terminal does not yet have a preferences dialog).
Before I go ahead an work on a patch for this, does it sounds desirable? Although, I'm not certain how an option can be added to re-enable the "Close All Tabs" dialog, since there is not a application-wide preference. Ideas?
