Submitted by Shixin Zeng Link to original bug (#156973)
Description
If you want to launch a gnome-terminal, when another gnome-terminal is already running, you may just want to open a new tab in the running one, instead of a new gnome-terminal. This is a very convenient for some apps to launch a gnome- terminal. Image that what we do, when gvim is running and we want to edit another file. We use the command "gvim --remote file". This will open a new gvim(if no one running) to edit the file, or open the file in a running gvim.
