bell sounds too loud compared to other system sounds
When I open up a new terminal and push e.g. the down-arrow, Gnome-Terminal plays one of two sounds (for whatever reason there exists that second sound…?). However, these sounds are extremely loud, compared to other system sounds – for example the ones that you hear when you press the volume keys of the keyboard (at the loudest setting). That volume gets pretty painful when you have to really turn up the volume (for example due to a relatively quiet video/podcast). Could these therefore please be normalized? 89 dB is here the standard to which music and videos should stick and what is used for example by replay gain.
Maybe there are even more sounds, which should get normalized… would be cool if that could be checked, too. :)
