Description
Package: gnome-core Version: 1.4.0.4 Severity:
Synopsis: Crashes with XDMCP Class: sw-bug System: Dell Dimension XPST450
Description: I access my Linux Box (Dell Dimension XPS T450) using X-Win32 5.1.3 on a Dell Dimension XPS B733.
The 2 Boxes are attached to each other via 2 3COM 3C905B-TX and a Cross-Over Cable.
Gnome starts fine.
I attempt to launch gnome-terminal, and gnome-terminal crashes.
I access my Linux Box again using X-Win32 5.1.3 and this time I use KDE.
gnome-Terminal crashes then also. Konsole runs fine howerver.
I do not observe the gnome-terminal crash if I access my Linux Box locally via the attached monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
How-To-Repeat: Enalbe XDMCP on the Linux box.
Access the Linux Box remotely via X-Win32 and attempt to run gnome-terminal.
