Keyboard navigation issues
GNOME Sudoku works very well using the keyboard--having Ctrl-digit for the earmarks is very keyboard-friendly!--but there's a couple of things that could be improved:
-
When starting a new game with Ctrl-N, pressing Enter to select the previous game's difficulty (e.g., Medium) doesn't do anything. I have to use the Up/Down keys to temporarily move away from and then back to the desired difficulty before pressing Enter will work.
-
The arrow keys work well for moving within the puzzle but it would be handy to have a way to quickly wrap around from bottom -> top, top -> bottom, right -> left, or left -> right. For example, if you're pointing to the upper left cell, pressing Up would wrap to the lower left cell or pressing Left would wrap to the upper right cell. Such a wraparound feature could significantly reduce the number of keystrokes needed to navigate a puzzle.
