Download progress indicators in "Updates" panel tend to freeze during updates
Please describe the issue you’re experiencing:
When several Flatpak applications are updating via the user maually downloading them in the "Updates" pane, it is possible for the loading bars which represent the copleteness of the transaction to freeze and stop displaying the status of the updates.
Steps to reproduce:
Please install at least 10 Flatpak applications that are frequently updated, and then let the computer sit, powered off, without recieving updates for a week. In my experience, it is easily reproducible with some downtime on your PC.
Often when 6 or more Flatpak apps are updating and showing progress, manually starting a system update will cause the download progress indicators on these applications to freeze entirely, with no error or visual feedback to inform the user of whether anything has installed, crashed, etc. As a user, you are left to wonder whether or not your apps actually installed, if it is safe to close the app, shutdown the PC, or whether it is safe or appropriate to reinstall the apps, manually update them in a console, or so on. This really tarnishes what would otherwise be a simple update process.
What Linux distribution are you using, and what kind of package (RPM, deb, flatpak, etc.) are you experiencing the problem with?
Fedora 38 with Gnome 44 (Wayland)
gnome-software version 44.1
