Remember password to avoid requesting it for each action
When using Software to uninstall multiple apps (like after first installing the OS and cleaning up the apps you don't need), you need to enter your password for each and every app you uninstall. This gets annoying fast.
It'd be nice if Software would remember that we just entered a password for a set time, like sudo
in the terminal does. Then we wouldn't need to re-enter our password for every app.
An alternative would be to allow uninstalling multiple apps at once, but that suggestion's been closed.
I'm using Debian testing (running Gnome 43.1 and Software 43.2) and uninstalling mainly deb packages (but I imagine this'd happen with any package type).
