details-page: "Other Apps by GNOME" is misleading
When there is no developer name for an app, Software uses the project_group
instead. This leads to the title "Other Apps by GNOME". On Flathub are 167 apps using GNOME as project_group
. They are certainly not all "by GNOME".
We are currently working on getting the GNOME branding in the project aligned to the foundation's Software Policy. This feature, however, has the potential for adding new confusion about what is official GNOME software.
I would suggest dropping the project_group
part of this feature before 43. There are also currently no app recommendations given if a developer name is available but no additional apps exist. So this should not be a huge change in the design.
/cc @mcatanzaro for a potential freeze exception maybe? The change would be removing two lines of code.
