Updates refuse to install when packages are held back
While using Mobian on PinePhone and PineTab, the user is eventually forced to update through the terminal when some packages are held back.
Expected behavior: Update the software that are not blocked by held back packages.
Message:
Unable to download updates:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libwacom2: Depends: libwacom-common (= 1.12-1) but 2.2.0-1 is to be installed
Recommends: libwacom-bin (= 1.12-1) but 2.2.0-1 is to be installed
Workaround is to update what can be updated through the command line until the dependencies are worked out.
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade
sudo apt autoremove
Once the dependency issue is resolved, GNOME Software Center works until more packages are held back.
GNOME Software Center would be more user friendly to newcomers if this condition were not a blocker.
