Make the running dot a pill-like shape

I took inspiration from windows 11 and the new taskbar design. They use a pill-like shape to indicate open apps. I thought that it may be a nice idea to implement this in GNOME. Making the running dot a pill will make it easier for users to quickly recognize that an application is running. The horizontal pill also matches the horizontal layout of the shell. The pill provides a greater sense of consistency and conformity in the desktop.

Please look at this contribution with an open mind, and please be willing to look at this from a fresh perspective.

Also, just for bonus, in my personal opinion, I think it looks better than the boring old dot :P
