Performance regression with gnome-shell 3.30.2-1 package in Fedora 29.

I've experienced a rather severe drop in performance after upgrading to gnome-shell 3.30.2-1 in Fedora 29. Frame drops seem to occur at random across the entire shell. 3D applications such as games are affected the worst in this regard. Downgrading gnome-shell to 3.30.1 solves this problem completely on my system.

Here are my system specs, for reference:

CPU: Intel i5 2520m RAM: 6gb iGPU: Intel HD 3000

Steps to reproduce: Make sure gnome-shell 3.30.2-1 is installed. Compare desktop use performance to 3.30.1. Launch any 3D application (a game would be a good thing to test) and compare performance to 3.30.1.
